Dual-Ghia
The Dual-Ghia stands as one of the most exclusive and fascinating automobiles of the 1950s, a rare blend of American power and Italian coachwork that captures both automotive elegance and Hollywood glamour.
Born from the vision of Eugene Casaroll, who owned Dual-Motors in Detroit, the Dual-Ghia was developed in cooperation with the renowned Italian carrozzeria Ghia in Turin. Casaroll took the striking Dodge Firearrow and Firebomb concept designs and turned them into limited-production reality, shipping Dodge frames and mechanicals to Italy for bodywork, then back to Detroit for final assembly.
Built between 1956 and 1958, 100 Dual-Ghias were produced, making them extraordinarily rare by any collector’s standards.
From the outset, the Dual-Ghia was aimed at the very top end of the market. With gorgeously handcrafted coachwork, Connolly leather interiors, and powerful Chrysler-sourced V8 engines - including the potent D500 “Red Ram” Hemi - each car was a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and understated performance.
